Ashford recycle This is excellent! It allows people to give away things they no longer need to others. Nothing is for sale, Whoever wants what your giving comes and collects it. To join you will need a yahoo email account  - very easy to set up. Above all this project stops useful items from being part of the 30,000 tons of rubbish  Ashford Borough Council collects  each year of which 95% is buried in landfill sites.  
'Recycling guide'  The site emphasis's the importance of recycling and provides advice on how people can recycle at home, in schools and how to recycle different materials. 
Necessary Furniture This Hersden based organisation  recycles furniture, white goods, paint and other household goods & has recently  added bicycles to its portfolio of items they recycle.       The collection service is free of charge.  Ashford Kent art society  Ashford (Kent) Arts Society. (A.K.A.S) The A.K.A.S. is a charitable organisation that was founded in 1958. The Society has a membership of over 100 artists who express themselves through a variety of media including oils, pastels, acrylics and other forms of art such as sculpture and photography.
Chilham Park Equestrian Centre  A local Equestrian center which provides a cross country course, livery & tuition facilities, based in the grounds of Chilham Castle.

Walking Routes contains over 700 active links to web pages containing 1000's of walking routes, walk descriptions, maps etc. The directory is organised by county making it easy to find details of walks in a given area.
North Downs Way This is the exciting new website for National Trails.  Click on the North Downs Way to find out more about this 153 mile route from Farnham to Dover or  the 'Canterbury loop' which passes through the Parish.  
Lost Landscapes
